This property defines the element acceleration maximum scaling factor. Maximum values of acceleration can be scaled independently of velocity, deceleration or jerk.

Short form

<element>.ARate

Syntax

<element>.AccelerationRate = <value>

?<element>.AccelerationRate

Availability

Since Version 4.0.1

Type

Double

Range

0.1 to 100

NOTE-Info.svgNOTE
Contrary to other properties if a value beyond the given range is assigned to rate properties (Vrate,Arate,Jrate, ...),only a NOTE will be returned and the value will be automatically limited to min-max value.
For example Vrate = 0 will set Vrate to 0.1 and vrate = 1000 will set vrate to 100.

Units

Percents

Default

100

Scope

Task or Terminal

Limitations

To set the value within a task, the element must be attached to that task or through the command line. The total accelerationrate value is combination of the system’s value and the element’s.

Examples

Axis
Setting:  A1.arate = 70 will cause the system to reduce maximum acceleration value to 70% of its original value. This means the motion acceleration will not exceed: (sys.arate/100)*(A1.arate/100)*A1.amax

?A1.arate

Group
Setting: G1.arate = 70 will cause the system to reduce maximum acceleration value to 70% of its original value. This means the motion acceleration will not exceed: (sys.arate/100)*(G1.arate/100)*G1.amax
