This property defines the axis acceleration maximum scaling factor. Maximum values of acceleration can be scaled independently of velocity, deceleration or jerk.

Short form

<axis>.ARate

Syntax

<axis>.AccelerationRate = <value>

?<axis>.AccelerationRate

Availability

Versions 4.0.1 and higher

Type

Double

Range

0.1 to 100

Units

Percents

Default

100

Scope

Task or Terminal

Limitations

To set the value within a task, the axis must be attached to that task or through the command line. The total accelerationrate value is combination of the system’s value and the element’s.

Examples

Setting:  A1.arate = 70 will cause the system to reduce maximum acceleration value to 70% of its original value. This means the motion acceleration will not exceed: (sys.arate/100)*(A1.arate/100)*A1.amax

?A1.arate
