This page describes the page structure in wiki, as well as the process of software release documentations.

Page structure
The page structure is built up hierarchically with subpages: software name/release/sub-release.
Software main page
On the software main page the template {{Software}} is used.
Release pages
On the release pages of a software the template {{Software/Release}} is used.
Sub-Release pages
Sub-Release pages are typically used for service packs or beta versions.
On the sub-release pages also the template {{Software/Release}} is used.
Category structure
New release and sub-release pages are automatically added to special categories. The pages of these categories have to be created manually by using the appropriate template.
Releases category
On the category, which collects the release pages, the template {{Software/Category}} has to be used.
Sub-Releases category
On the category, which collects the sub-release pages, the template {{Software/Release/Category}} has to be used.
Software downloads
Help:External media describes the mechanism of distributing software packages.
