This property defines the axis Jerk maximum scaling factor. Maximum values of Jerk can be scaled independently of velocity, acceleration or deceleration.
Short form
<axis>.JRate
Syntax
<axis>.JerkRate = <expression>
?<axis>.JerkRate
Availability
Versions 4.0.1 and higher
Type
Double
Range
0.1 to 100
Units
Percents
Default
100
Scope
Task or Terminal
Limitations
- To set the value within a task, the axis must be attached to that task (using the ATTACH command).
- The total JerkRate value is a combination of the system's value and the element's value.
Examples
SettingA1.Jrate = 50 will cause the system to reduce maximum jerk value to 50% of its original value. This means the motion jerk will not exceed: (sys.jrate/100) ×(a1.jrate/100) × a1.jmax
?A1.Jrate
