It is possible to place any kind of files on the Manz-Wiki server, which then can be downloaded through Wiki.
These files can only be downloaded by logged-in users.

This method is used, for example, for [[:Category:Software Releases|software releases]] distribution.

The external media location is accessible via <code>'''\\webserver-dmz'''</code> within the MANZ network domain.

A directory exists for every public namespace. 
Users, who can create articles in a public namespace, have write rights in the respective directory.

== Providing download link ==
A download link can be provided using the template [[Template:External-Media|<nowiki>{{External-Media}}</nowiki>]].
The usage is described on the template page itself.
